Antispray Tape MF-01 - General description

The Mareflex MF-01 anti-splashing tape was designed with the aim of protecting pipeline installations against leakage in accordance with the latest SOLAS Consolidate Edition 2001, Regulation II-2/4.2.2.5.3 and the previous SOLAS Consolidate Edition 1997, Regulation II-2/15.2.9/.10/.11/.12 (see details). As the Type Approval Certificate states, our tape's application is screening of pipe joints and fittings for use with pipe flanges and fittings in system for fuel oil, lube oil and other flammable oils. The flammable substance once it comes into contact with a hot surface may be the cause of fires.

The MF01 tape directs any potential leakage to areas where the hot substance will not be dangerous.

Antispray MF01 is available in sheet and tape format of various size, in all versions equipped with an adhesive layer to ensure easy installation. Mareflex MF01 is the first spray preventing tape which is enhanced with a fire-retardant (self extingusihing) adhesive layer for further enhancing the safety standards. The self-adhesive layer is extremely strong and water resistant.
